Welcome to the webpage of Professor Elpidio Mora, a graduate of the University of Panama , Professor Mora has been an outstanding educator, teaching physics courses in high schools in Panama, Professor Mora has dedicated a significant part of his career to teaching physics.
From 1998 to 2000, he served as the Director of Photography for the Geopanama magazine, covering the transfer of the Panama Canal by the United States.
Through his passion for teaching, he has helped hundreds of students understand and appreciate the most complex concepts of physics, inspiring them to pursue careers in science and technology.
This webpage is entirely dedicated to Professor Mora's physics courses, epistemological writings about science and physics, and specialized writings in educational administration. He graduated from the University of Panama, where he took courses in modern physics, waves, and quantum mechanics A and B with Dr. Cesar Garrido, RIP to his memory, and courses in electricity and electronics A, B, C, thanking Professor Néstor Sánchez for teaching these courses.
With 35 years of experience in the fields of informatics, technology, and electronics, Professor Mora has an outstanding track record as a teacher, with 32 years of teaching physics in high schools in Panama. He also holds a Master's degree in Education with a specialization in educational administration, with points in MEDUCA administration, and has taken technical courses at INADEH in the field of telecommunications. We would like to express our appreciation to Professor Itza Ortega from the Entre Pares Panama Project for her course in web design oriented towards education, sponsored by MEDUCA-INTEL.
In 2022, Professor Mora received a certificate from the OAS in the educational portal of the Americas in the introduction to STEM and STEAM, awarded on May 3rd of the same year. He is currently writing documents and books about epistemology, educational administration, teaching, and the dissemination of physics.
In 2022, he was selected as a robotics judge in the national competition of the WRO. The following year, in 2023, he had the honor of serving as an international robotics judge at the WRO
